How TransWare processes Personal Data

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

We are processing personal data solely for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract or for support reasons. Moreover we are processing personal data were processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data.

Collection and storage of personal data

a) Visit of our website; server logfiles

If you visit our websites we automatically collect and store information in so-called server log files which your browser automatically transmits to us, such as

Purchasing our products and services

When you purchase products or services (e.g. maintenance services for our products) from our online-shop, we ask you for your

Your credit card details are passed to the respective third-party payment providers. Your shipping information will be passed to a third-party carrier in case of hardcopy delivery of our products.

We keep your personal data stored until the completion of the transaction, moreover to the extent and for the duration necessary to comply with legal obligations to which we are subject, for archiving purposes and for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims and warranties. Please note, that submitting personal data in the content of a single posting in blogs/communities /forums is never safe and security or the exclusion of any third part access to those postings may never be excluded. 

In case you ask us to delete your email address or a posting please note, that we will either delete the complete posting including your email address or anonymize your name or email address.

Transfer to third parties

Besides the transfers mentioned under this Privacy Policy no transmission of data to third parties does take place unless you have given your explicit permission. A transmission of data to third parties for commercial purposes does not take place.

Collection of usage data, anonymized user-profiles
